Resumen:
This work involves the construction of a thermal model using the balance equations, which is called a three configurations solar dryer, as suggested by the literature. A computer simulation of the model was performed using a free software license (@SIMUSOL). As a boundary condition, it was used data taken from temperature and solar radiation, recorded on several locations across the Colombian Caribbean Coast. Thermal calculations were performed according to different authors. These results were compared with those obtained using measured direct data for each configuration in each of the same locations. As a result, consistency is observed between the results from the simulation and those obtained from direct measurements.
