Resumen:
Alkynylcyclopropane derivatives have proved to be suitable substrates for gold-catalyzed transformations [1], due to the -acidic nature of Au(I) cations which enables the soft activation of the triple C-C bond. In this communication the scope, limitations and regioselectivity issues of gold-catalyzed cycloisomerizations involving functionalyzed cyclopropyl alkynes (carboxylic acids, carboxamides or cyclopropylmethanols) will be presented. The behavior of substrates bearing an all-carbon quaternary stereocenter will also be discussed.
