Resumen:
The goals of this work are:To present positions about whether the theory of intelligent design of Paley and the theory of natural selection of Darwin share the same explanandum: the adaptation of living organisms to the environment.To show that both Darwin and Paley appeal to the same underlying theory (biological functional theory) to conceptualize the phenomenon of adaptation.To show the changes Darwin made to that underlying theory.
