DISPERSION DE PARAMETROS TEMPORALES: ALTERNATIVA PARA EL CONTROL MIOELECTRICO

The aim of this paper was to propose and evaluate an alternative to the myoelectric control using the variance (VAR) and VAR dispersions.  Starting from the EMG deltoid medium analysis, obtained during the abduction and adduction movements in statics position, we have observed that the VAR average and VAR Dispersion increase linearly during the abduction movement. In other hand the mean absolute value (VAM) and their dispersions, did not change in linear form, and presented a poor sensibility in positions among 70 and 90º.
