Eukariotic cells as seen in electrón microscope have many different organelles which are lomited by membranas. Each compartment has its own lipid and protein compositions which allow different specific functions. It has been posible to obtain specific antibodies against define organelles (Louvard et al., 1992). The integrity of the chemical composition of each compartment is necessary for the cell survival.
