(Presentación mural)The motion of a chain of N beads is studied to determine its diffusion coeficient in two dimensions. We present an extension of a recently introduced one-dimensional hard core repton model that represents the behavior of a linear and flexible polymer in a gel. The cases of noninteracting and self avoiding chains are considered. For both cases, an analytical expression for the diffusion coefficient is proposed for all N. The validity of this approximation is verified by means of Monte Carlo simulations.
