The mass, mass loss rate and rate ofejection of these prominences is calculated using the analytical expressionderived in our previous work (Villarreal D'Angelo et al. 2018). Studying the evolution of slingshot prominences for a star like our Sun, canhelp us to quantify their influence in the mass loss rate of the stellar windand in the loss of angular momentum. They can also help us to correlate someimportant events in the life of the solar system planets with periods whenthese type of prominences could have been more massive and with a higher rateof ejection.
