In this paper, we study the dynamical behavior of an unidirectional ring of neurons with distributed delays affecting the communication paths. In order to detectand analyze static and Hopf bifurcations in this system, weuse a version of a frequency-domain approach developed for distributed delay equations. Our results suggest that for a large enough number of neurons in the ring, a double Hopf bifurcation may also occur.
