Kinematic study of giant stars in six galactic old open clusters

              We present Gemini GMOS spectroscopic observations of 134stars in the field of 6 old (2-8 Gyr) open clusters in the third galacticquadrant: Be 32, Be 39, NGC 2112, NGC 2243, NGC 2682, and Tr 5.We determined the mean cluster radial velocity and analyzed kinematicmembership for all clusters except Tr 5, for which there is no clear accu-mulation point in the radial velocity distribution. A double lined spec-troscopic binary was detected in Be 32. The typical error in our meancluster velocities is 0.5 km s−1 . The accuracy achieved in individual mea-surement of low rotating stars demonstrates the capability of GMOS forobtaining radial velocities with uncertainties of 1.5-2.0 km s−1 .
