Resumen:
The San Pedro mining district is located in the central part of the San Rafael Massif (35º 21 58, 6 S; 68º 23 22 W), province of Mendoza, Argentina. It is a porphyry Cu (Mo) type deposit which is hosted by a volcaniclastic sequence. Based on petro mineralogical studies, six types of hydrothermal veins have been preliminary recognized and linked to the different hydrothermal alteration stages.
