Where does philosophy starts? This is a problem we face at the beginning of several major philosophical works. Gilles Deleuze advances a solution in the third chapter of Difference and Repetition. Or if the formal aspect of this solution is clear, it?s not so much the case for the material aspect. We intend to clarify this solution not only to present in a concrete way Deleuze?s idea of the beginning of philosophy but also to show how this design holds the key to determine how Deleuze?s philosophy starts itself.
