Resumen:
In my presentation, I will argue that Schutzian phenomenology can provide valuable contributions to the theoretical reflection on institutional realities. Indeed, although he does not develop an explicit and systematic theory of institutions, Schutz provides fruitful insights on the matter. If further developed, these insights could help elaborate a comprehensive theory of social institutions, that is, an account that does justice to both the subjective and objective moments of institutional life.
