Resumen:
Stars with masses greater than  8 solar masses form in high-mass molecular clumps. Eventually, these clumps gravitationally collapse and fragment, giving rise to multiple molecular cores. The number of cores and their mass distribution depend on the process that regulates this fragmentation. Recent studies of high-mass clumps in pre-stellar stages have revealed different mass distributions for these fragments. An important question in this type of study is to establish what proportion of these cores have enough mass to give rise to the formation of high- mass stars. A preliminary study of two high-mass molecular clumps with evidence of fragmentation is presented, based on observations obtained from the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) database in Band 6, of the 239 GHz continuum emission and the line J = 13-12 of the CH3CN.
