Star formation activity around Sh2-165 and Sh2-166

Based on a multiwavelength study, we analyze the interstellar medium around the HII regions Sh2-165 and Sh2-166. We detected molecular gas interact- ing with both HII regions and several signatures of star formation activity in the molecular gas located at the periphery of the ionized regions, suggest- ing that the expansion of the HII regions has favoured the star formation process
