In this research work, we present preliminary details of the implementation and testing of the purityand completeness in the Southern Photometric Local Universe Survey Data Release 2 (S-PLUS DR2) of anisolated galaxy pairs identification algorithm. To this end, we use a simulated galaxy catalogue that imitates thecharacteristics of S-PLUS. The final goal is to study isolated galaxy pairs and understand their environment andevolution
