Resumen:
Numerous studies point out as a new feature of the processof socio-territorial transformations in the new century, theintensification of inequalities and the increasing difficultyin accessing affordable housing in the cities. In CordobaArgentina, urban form is characterized by low densities, discontinuous expansion, increased segregation, and urbanfragmentation. The paradox is that even in a context ofeconomic growth (during the first decade of the 21stcentury) the housing deficit and urban informality enlarged. The objective of the research is to determine the way inwhich housing policy has influenced the production of newterritories. The methodology seeks to integrate quantitativeand qualitative approaches. The results allow us torecognize processes of urban fragmentation, as well as theconditions derived from the peripheral location of housingpolicy. In this way, we seek in this study to advance in thenotion of more inclusive residential environments.
