Resumen:
Two modifications to the standard adaptive model-following control (AMFC) algoríthm given in Landau (1979) are described. The first refers to the extension of the algorithm to consider measurable disturbance inputs in a feedforward adaptive fashion. The second ís related to the use of reduced reference models, which consider only the more important state variables. This enhances the possíbility of stability and perfect modelfollowing (PMF) in linear systems, even if the number of manipulated variables díffers from the number of state variables.
