Severity reduction of Frogeye Leaf Spot of soybean by inoculation with PGPB

Biocontrol bacteria reduce the severity of FLS. Moreover, since the bacteria were inoculated in the roots and the phytopathogen on the leaves, it is suggested that they induced systemic resistance in plants. In addition, plants inoculated with Bacillus sp. CHEP5 showed the major reduction in the damaged leaf area and the highest chlorophyll content, indicating that it could be the best biocontrol agent against FLS under the conditions used in this study.
