Resumen:
Turbulence is ubiquitous in space physics andastrophysics, exciting a wide variety of temporal andspatial scales. This is the case in the solar wind and in theinterstellar medium, where energy is transferred fromlarge to small kinetic scales where it is finally dissipated. In the macroscopic description of a plasma, turbulence inmagnetohydrodynamics (MHD) and in two-fluidapproximations is the result of nonlinear interactions offluctuations of the velocity and magnetic fields, leading tothe excitation of waves, and to the generation of spatiallyintermittent structures that impact on heating, transport, and particle acceleration. Can we use this large-scaledescription of a plasma to understand multiscaleinteractions, and to understand their impact on particleacceleration and heating?
