On a new generalized Hermite constant

We will introduce the projective Hermite-Humbert constant for a number field which is a new generalization of the classical Hermite constant. This is a nontrivial lower bound for the Hermite-Humbert constant defined by Icaza in 1997 and these two constants coincide when the number field has class number one. We computed the exact values of the projective Hermite-Humbert constants for imaginary quadratic field with absolute discriminants less than 70. The associated extreme forms were also determined. This is a joint work with W.K. Chan and M.I. Icaza.
