Resumen:
The concept of intertextuality, coined by Julia Kristeva (1967) from Mijail Bajtin?s idea of dialogism, has been studied by different musicologists, such as Robert Hatten (1995), Omar Corrado (1992), Rubén López Cano (2005 and 2007), and Mark Spicer (2009); and in a more incidental way by Richard Middleton (2000), Serge Lacasse (2000 and 2003), and Kevin Korsyn (2001). From diverse perspectives these works refer to the ?textual? relation in music. In this presentation, I propose another kind of intertextual musical relationships from John Fiske?s notion of intertextuality. He suggests a less restrictive idea of intertextuality. In his own words: ?Intertextuality exists rather in the space between texts? (1987: 108), which means that this relationship do not take the specific form of an allusions from one text to another. This new musicological viewpoint allows us to analyse in a deeper way some Les Luthiers? works. This is an Argentinean humoristic-musical group who has been parodying the academic and popular music scenes since 1967 in Latin America and Spain.
