ABSTRACT
This contribution aims to describe the occurrence of staurolite in the mylonites of the Guacha Corral
shear zone, located in the Sierra de Comechingones (Córdoba province), as well as pretends to remark the
importance of this mineral as an indicator of the dynamic metamorphism P-T conditions associated with this
deformational crustal zone.
