Resumen:
In this paper we give conditions on an implication algebra $mathbf{A}$ so that two congruences $theta_1, theta_2$ on $mathbf{A}$ permute, i.e. $theta_1 circ theta_2 = theta_2 circ theta_1$. We also provide simpler conditions for permutability in finite implication algebras. Finally we present some applications of these characterizations.
