Based on integrated spectra obtained at CASLEO (San Juan, Argentina) for eight small angular diameter open clusters and for the central region of an extended cluster, we determine their ages and colour excesses. In general terms, the spectroscopic information shows good agreement with that inferred by other authors from photometric studies. In some cases, however, we find considerable differences between our results and those derived by other authors. The obtained spectra complement our previous cluster spectrum sample in an effort to widen and improve the currently existing library of solar metallicity template spectra. In this work we have defined a new solar metallicity template of 21 Gyr.
