Resumen:
Using spectroscopic data obtained with the VLT (Chile), we determine metallicities and radial velocities for red giants in 16 Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC) clusters. Based on these data as well as in existing data in the literature, we reexamine the age-metallicity relationship and the possible existence of a metallicity gradient in the SMC.
