Flux-calibrated spectra in the optical range are presented for 4 and 2 previously unstudied star clusters of the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds, respectively. Photographic and integrated photometry has been reported only for one of them (SL 234). We have estimated ages and foreground interstellar reddening values from the comparison of the line strengths and continuum distribution of the cluster spectra with those of template cluster spectra with known parameters. Ages were also derived from the equivalent widths of the Balmer lines. All the studied clusters are found to be low-reddened moderately young objects (age < 100 Myr). These data will soon be complemented with those obtained in a similar way to examine the cluster formation history in the Magellanic Clouds.
