Metallicities and radial velocities of two stellar clusters located in the outer regions of the Small Magellanic Cloud

Resumen:
We studied near-infrared spectra of red giant stars in two SmallMagellanic Cloud (SMC) clusters. We used the Caii lines to measureradial velocities as well as the equivalent widths of these lines todetermine metallicity. The two studied clusters (L32 and L38) areprojected on the outer regions of the SMC so they are particularlyinteresting to examine the possible existence of a change of sign in themetallicity gradient in the outer regions, as suggested by a recentstudy.
