Resumen:
The study of hybrid systems formed by rare earth cations and aliphatic dicarboxylates is a field of great interest at present. This is because depending on several structural (dicarboxylate chain lenght, etc.) and thermodinamic factors they may exhibit hybrid frameworks enclosing porous of different sizes, which can host waters and other guest molecules or ions. Metal cations are connected by different superexchange paths, wich can include guest molecules. With the aim to go deeper into the knowledge of the influence of coordination and hydration water on the crystalline structure and magnetic properties of these materials, we have studied the dehydration process of several rare earth dicarboxylates by TG, DSC and DTA measurements. The obtained phases were characterized by XRD. Magnetic response as a function of the temperature was investigated by AC magnetic susceptibility in the range 14-300K
