Image processing applications can be characterized as an iterativedesign of a sequence of processing steps among an heterogeneousset of tools and techniques The user of an application must choose themost adequate, and apply it with the convenient parameter, mostly ona trial and error basis. The Image Processing Spreadsheet PDICalc wasproposed as an adequate user interface to this kind of applications. ThePDICalc is a simple but powerful combination of two diferent and widespreadsoftware technologies: image processing and spreadsheets. It enablesusers to build an image processing pipeline, considering each stepseparately, and visualizing the results of modifying the parameters ofeach step in the final image.In this work, we present the most recent results on implementing a completeset of satellite image processing procedures. This new set of toolsincludes not only processing techniques (multiband processing, advancedsegmentation, and interactive classification schemata) but also organizationaids that help in the layout of the processing pipeline.
