Resumen:
The production and circulation of “Jewish books” in Buenos Aires during the twentieth century cannot be addressed in its complexity but on condition of placing and studying it within the frame of a transnational geography of Jewish publishing. Indeed, the consideration and understanding of the historical forms through which this transnational space conditioned the publishing dynamics in Buenos Aires, allow us to approach to a more accurate picture of the actors who promoted this activity, the political and cultural interests that oriented their stakes, the kinds of resources that were used, as well as the social settings that delimited this production. This lecture seeks to present in a summarized way the analytical perspective that guided the research as well as the structure and general conclusions of the dissertation, in particular those related to the transnational dimension of the subject.
