Resumen:
Purposes of the Symposium: The meeting has been designed as an interdisciplinary encounter in which International Economic Policy relates to Political Science, History and Cultural Studies. This approach and the specific analysis of the three components prescribe a methodology which is comparative and statistical in nature. For this reason, the expected results will be a contribution to the existing consensus, as an exercise in comparative analysis, which will produce new information on the benefits and problems of distinct phases that the development of such economic policies entails.
