Resumen:
Galaxy clusters even at low redshift are not yet completely virialized. Evidence for substructure is usually present in nearby clusters (e.g., Drinkwater et al. 2001, Edwards et al. 2002, Hou et al. 2012). Differences in the velocity dispersions between early-type and late type galaxies, and between bright and dwarf galaxies (e.g., Conselice et al. 2001, Drinkwater et al. 2001), point to a complex scenario, where a fraction of galaxies is actually falling into the clusters potential well. Our aim is to characterize the Antlia cluster of galaxies, studying the distribution of heliocentric radial velocities for the galaxies in the region. We present new radial velocities of galaxies located in the constellation of Antlia. We supplement our galaxy sample with literature data, ending up with 105 galaxy velocities. These data help up to obtain a better understanding of the structure of Antlia.
