Resumen:
Abstract ? SAOCOM (Argentine Satellite of Observation with Microwaves) 1 and 2 will integrate the SIASGE (Italian ? Argentine Satellite System for Emergency Management), jointly with the satellites of the COSMO- SkyMed Italian-French constellation. CONAE?s SAOCOM satellites will carry on board an L-band SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) with 10m resolution as a main instrument. A phased array antenna of 25m² area with simultaneous dual linear polarization working in the 1250-1300MHz band is required in order to fulfill the instrument requirements. The radiators chosen as basic elements are presented here with measured results. Experimental impedance, coupling and radiation properties of a development model of a small array are also introduced.
