Resumen:
Abstract. In recent years there has been a series of advances in the Initial-Boundary Value Problem in General Relativity. This new knowledge on the theory of partial differential equations is not only applicable to that theory but to many theories whose equations can be cast as a coupled system of wave equations. This material was recently covered in a course at the XV BRAZILIAN SCHOOL OF COSMOLOGY AND GRAVITATION, 2012, Mangaratiba - Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. Since most of these knowledge has been already described in papers and reviews of the topic, here, instead of writing another course lectures, I will try to orient the reader to the existing material, signaling which are the important aspects and where to find information about each one of them.
