Abstract : BIOSTRATIGRAPHIC SYNTHESIS OF THE TUCUNUCO GROUP (UPPER ORDOVICIAN- UPPER SILURIAN). A REVIEW. PALYNOLOGICAL ASSOCIATIONS. A compilation of the most recent macrofossils and palynological studies of the Tucunuco Group, in the  La Chilca and the Los Espejos Formations are presented herein. Relationships among graptolites, brachiopods, conodonts , trilobites  and palynomorphs are attempted. The Salto Macho  and the Cuarcitas Azules Members from the La Chilca Formation yield  a very interesting microflora  assigned to the Tylotopalla robustispinosa/ Oppilatala eoplanktonica and Deunffia/ Domasia biozones respectively.  The Los Espejos Formation is divided in four palynological associations : 1) Loma de Los Piojos association  of  Upper Ludlovian- Lochkovian ? age. 2) Quebrada de Las Aguaditas association , of Upper Ludlovian age. 3) Aguada de los Azulejitos association , of middle to Upper Ludlovian age and 4) Quebrad de Los Pozos- Río Jáchal association of middle to upper ?
