Resumen:
Transition-metal complexes provide highly active and selective catalysts, whose costly separation from the products hampers their use in commercial applications. A thermomorphic multi component solvent system (TMS) turns out to be a single phase at a certain temperature and readily separates in two phases at lower temperature. In this communication, our intention is: i) Study of the efficiency in hydrosilylation of alkynes of a novel water-soluble platinum(0) carbene complex. ii)Recycling of the catalyst using a TMS system. In conclusion, the new platinum(0) carbene complex was highly efficient and selective in the hydrosilylation of phenylacetilene in a TMS system.  Catalyst recycling was easily achieved in this solvent mixture without changes of the catalytic performance after four cycles
