In the search for UHE photons, it is crucial to improve the discrimination capabilities of the composition-sensitive parameters. In this work, we develop a parametrization of the lateral distribution function of the signal, deposited in the Cherenkov detectors of Auger, providing a useful tool to go further on the understanding and optimization of several SD parameters, like Sb and F_\gamma . The parametrization is performed for the LDF corresponding to the total signal as well as the corresponding one to the electromagnetic and muonic components. The selected fitting function is a NKG-like function with three parameters, the normalization factor S1000 and two slope parameters, \beta and \gamma. A parametrization of them is given as a function the primary energy and zenith angle.
