Resumen:
Methods for micro- and nano-patterning of polymeric materials are essential to produce advanced topographies which could for example serve to modulate cell and tissue response in bio-materials [1]. Direct laser interference pattering (DLIP), is a straightforward technique to prepare micropatterns on surfaces polymeric for used in different biomedical devices. This process is based on interference of two or more laser beams by direct irradiation of sample surface with coherent beams of light and the shape and dimension of the interference patterns can be adjusted by controlling the number of laser beams as well as their geometrical configuration [2]. This technique has been applied in the past not only to polymers but also to metals and ceramics.
