This paper introduces the concept of controlled error bound when an approximation by Least Squares is used for nonlinear dynamical systems in optimal control. On the other hand several conclusions are taken about the use of the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation for problems of optimal control. Finally a numerical example is presented.
