Resumen:
The relativistic transformations for the electric and magnetic fields are obtained without mention of test charges or transformation properties of the sources, in a way which is suitable for a beginner?s course. The transformation laws follow from the fact that an electromagnetic plane wave is plane in every inertial reference system.
