Resumen:
The Delaunay triangulation is one of the most popular methods for constructing computational meshes given a set of N-points. However, to obtain a complete mesh generation algorithm, the problem of points placement must also be solved.In this work, a method is presented for automatic node-placement in the boundary and the interior of a generic domain, suitable for mesh generation based in the Delaunay triangulations. Grading of the mesh is controlled by a node-spacing function, given at some points and automatically extended to the whole domain. The performance from the point of view of computational cost is analyzed using different types of meshes.
