Resumen:
Latent inhibition, retarded conditioning to a stimulus that has been previously repeatedly presented without reinforcement, was examined in the toad Bufo arenarum. Partially dehydrated animals were daily trained in a spatial learning task using a visual cue signaling the presence of a pool with water in an open field. Toads of the Pre-exposed group experienced the unreinforced visual cue for 5 sessions before starting training.
