The evaluation of the flux of carbon isotopes through the alimentarychain: plant~herbivore~carnivore, was made by means of the 13C analysis on45 samples of vegetal tissue, 37 of herbivore collagen and 8 of modern camelids.In addition, 6 samples of archaeological camelid bone have been analyzed forcomparative purposes.
