Resumen:
The Kranz structure present in stems of Chrysanthellum Richard is de·scribed and illustrated . Its absence in stems of Pectis L. is also established.Through the d13C ratios obtained for stems the authors reafirm that variationsof that index among different morphological parts of the same plant areminor.
