Using archaeofaunal data and the paleoenvironmental information, Gil and Neme discuss the diminution in the number of archaeological sites and archaeological evidence during Midd Holocene in central western Argentina. The trends shows an strong drop in the rate of bones reflecting the diminution in the average human occupation at the regional scale. Apling diet breadth models the authors find not significant change in the Artiodactyla index through time. It was interpreted as a low presure on the resource
