Resumen:
Garcı´a (2010) states, as we recently proposed, that the environmental changes originating during the mid-Holocene had a significant impact on various aspects of human occupation in western Argentina between 32 and 38S (Neme and Gil 2009). However, he offers some observations about ourmodel. His critique points to the representativeness of the archaeological record that we use and of our interpretation. In this paper we answer this García critiques.
