Resumen:
Water-soluble multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNT) can be readily obtained by wrapping it with poly(ethilenedioxythiophene)/poly(styrenesulphonate) (PEDOT-PSS). In addition, these non covalentlymodified carbon nanotubes can be used as reducer of metal salts in solutions to produce metal decorated carbon nanotubes. The platinum-decorated MWNT have been employed as electrodes for methanol electrooxidation.
