Resumen:
Methylene green is a versatiledye that can be usedin a wide range of technical applications. However for most of them must start from high puritydye. The purification procedure here reported is simple and the purity of the dye can be easily checked by its UV-visible absorption spectrum and fluorescence lifetime.
