Resumen:
This article examines processes of identity articulation in the creation of the National University of Patagonia in 1974. From a political discourse analysis perspective we will explore the socio historical context, the idea of a university with a regional scope, and the cultural and pedagogical arguments that were at stake. In order to do this, we will first introduce two notions: the idea of the relative structurality in which every discourse emerges and the particular content it assumes. With these elements we will give an account of the emergence and potential stabilization of a set of partial identifications articulated in the process of creation of the university.
