Resumen:
We present a novel synthetic method of
thermo-responsive all-glycerol nanogels (NG)
based on hyperbranched polyglycerol (HPG) as
a macro-cross-linker and linear poly(glycidyl
methyl ether-co-ethyl glycidyl ether) (p(GMEco-EGE))
as a thermo-responsive polymer. The
nanogels are synthesized by nanoprecipitation
of the macro-monomers in water, followed by
gelation of the precursor particles. The crosslinking
points were generated by strain-
promoted azide alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC)
of the prefunctionalized polymers. The mild
reaction conditions which do not require the
input of high energy, elevated temperature, or
the presence of colloidal stabilizer promise the
encapsulation of bioactives during nanogel
synthesis. Moreover, their temperature triggered
release is expected to be highly tunable and find
applications in various fields.
